Synopsis
An aging actress named Mrs. Stone travels to Rome after her husband dies suddenly en route. While there, she rents an apartment and meets a young man through the Contessa. Mrs. Stone begins an affair with this younger man, which spirals out of control as she becomes obsessed with him. Initially, he treats her well, but eventually shows disdain towards her.
