In Rome during the 1970s, three friends from childhood - Il Freddo, Libano, and Il Dandi - reunite after Freddo's release from prison. They decide to start a life of crime, becoming notorious for their daring heists. Their gang, known as the Banda della Magliana, quickly becomes one of the most powerful criminal organizations in Rome. Libano is driven by ambition, seeking to expand their influence across Italy, while Freddo and Dandi pursue more immediate pleasures. However, as time passes, paranoia begins to strain their friendship, leading to a breakdown in loyalty that draws the attention of Commissario Scialoja.
