Synopsis
Detective Jack Grimaldi (Gary Oldman) is a corrupt cop with ties to the Mafia, juggling his loving wife Natalie and adoring mistress Sheri. When he becomes involved in an assassination plot against Mona Demarkov (Lena Olin), a ruthless Russian mob assassin, things spiral out of control. Grimaldi underestimates Mona's cunning; she manipulates him mercilessly while threatening his life. The film follows Grimaldi's descent into chaos as he struggles to maintain his double life and navigate the dangerous game Mona plays with him.

Directed by Peter Medak in 1993, 'Romeo Is Bleeding' is an erotic thriller that explores the dark side of power, corruption, and sexual obsession. The film stars Gary Oldman as Jack Grimaldi, a corrupt cop who believes he can manipulate everyone around him, including Mona Demarkov (Lena Olin), a deadly Russian hitwoman.
