Synopsis
Set in a small village straddling the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, 'Run of the Country' centers around the strained relationship between a short-tempered policeman, Michael Gallagher (played by Sean Bean), and his rebellious son, Conor (played by Albert Finney Jr.). When Conor falls for Bronagh (played by Tomi Selznick), a girl from an affluent family, their already tense relationship becomes even more exacerbated. The film follows their evolving dynamics as they navigate this new complication.
