Synopsis
While out for a morning run, Calvin Jacobs discovers the beaten body of Robin, his former college crush. Unbeknownst to him, this act sets him on a dark path when Robin returns and asks him to kill her attacker, Karl Screase. Reluctantly agreeing to investigate, Calvin soon finds himself targeted by Karl's psychological torment. Facing an ultimatum to either kill Robin or be killed himself, Calvin decides to withdraw from the dangerous game they're playing. However, his attempts to walk away are met with brutal consequences, forcing him to realize that the only way back to safety is through facing the darkness head-on.

Running Through Darkness (2018) is a dramatic thriller directed by Peter O'Brien and starring Landon Beard as Calvin Jacobs. The film follows Calvin's descent into a dangerous world after discovering his former college crush, Robin (Lillian Bornstein), beaten and left for dead. When Robin asks him to investigate her attacker, Karl Screase (Eric Moyer), Calvin finds himself entangled in a web of psychological manipulation and violence. Throughout the story, Calvin struggles with his moral compass and the choices he makes, leading him through darkness towards redemption.
