Synopsis
In his first command aboard a rusting cargo ship anchored in the South China Sea, a young Polish captain faces mutiny from his Chinese crew who suspect him and his boss of planning to scuttle the ship for insurance money. Left alone on board after the crew abandons ship, the captain discovers a naked woman floating in the sea below at night. He pulls her aboard, and she pleads with him to hide her, saying only 'Hide me.' Dawn arrives along with a search party looking for a murderer.

Résumé
Secret Sharer (2014) is an international co-production directed by Peter Fudakowski, inspired by Joseph Conrad's novella of the same name. Set aboard a dilapidated cargo ship in the South China Sea, the story revolves around a young Polish captain navigating his first command amidst suspicion and mutiny from his Chinese crew.
