Synopsis
Baker Dill (Matthew McConaughey), a fishing boat captain living on Plymouth Island, struggles with personal demons and an obsession with catching a giant tuna. His quiet life is disrupted when his ex-wife Karen (Anne Hathaway) arrives seeking help. She begs him to take her abusive new husband (Jason Clarke) out to sea on a fishing trip, intending for him to be fed to the sharks. Dill must grapple with his conscience and decide whether to aid Karen's plot or follow his moral compass.

Serenity is a neo-noir thriller directed by Steven Knight in 2019.
