Synopsis
In Silent Ones (2013), directed by Ricky Rijneke, we follow Csilla, a young Hungarian woman played by Orsi Tóth. After waking up inside a crashed car in an unknown location with no trace of her younger brother Isti, Csilla decides to keep a promise she made to him and boards a freighter in search of a new life. Once aboard the ship, Csilla retreats into a dreamlike state, losing grip on reality. Meanwhile, she encounters Gábor (played by Roland Rába), a mysterious man who crosses her path. The film then takes a hallucinogenic and surreal turn as Csilla navigates between two worlds.
