Synopsis
Jack Nietsche, an ex-con turned private investigator working for Ted Quincy, becomes entangled in a web of betrayal and deceit orchestrated by Quincy's former lover Roxie, who is now married to crime lord Tony Falcone. Roxie enlists Jack's help to eliminate both Falcone and Quincy, intending to run away with him. However, their plan sets off a chain reaction of double-crossings.
