Synopsis
In 'Sisters', a young doctor named Jack meets and spends the night with a mysterious woman named Mary, whom he meets at a children's party at a Vancouver mental health clinic. The next day, which happens to be Mary's birthday (as well as her unseen twin sister's), Jack goes out in search of a cake for Mary. Meanwhile, a reporter named Anna breaks into the office of Dr. Alexander Barsky, who runs the clinic, and witnesses him murdering someone on his closed-circuit television. Anna teams up with an investigator to pursue the truth about the murder. As they dig deeper, their investigation leads them back to the clinic and eventually uncovers a horrifying connection between Mary, her twin sister, Dr. Barsky, and Anna's own past.

'Sisters' is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Douglas Buck in 2006. The film follows a non-linear narrative structure that involves a pair of twins named Mary and Martha, who seem to be connected to a series of disturbing events. The story revolves around Jack, a young doctor who becomes entangled with the twins; Anna, a reporter investigating a murder at the clinic where Dr. Alexander Barsky conducts his sinister experiments; and Dr. Barsky himself, whose twisted obsession with the twins drives the plot towards a gruesome climax.
