Histoire
In Sarajevo during the 1960s, a young man grows up under his father's shadow. He becomes involved with small-time criminals who hire him to hide a young prostitute named Dolly Bell. The young man falls in love with her.

Sjecas li se Dolly Bell (Do You Remember Dolly Bell?) is Emir Kusturica's debut film, set against the backdrop of socialist Yugoslavia in the 1960s. The story explores themes of love, naivety, and corruption through the eyes of a young man navigating his way through life.
