Synopsis
In 'Slugs', people begin to die in mysterious and gruesome ways in New York City. Health worker Mike Brady suspects that giant killer slugs might be the culprit, but his theory is initially laughed at by authorities. As the death toll rises, a slug expert from England arrives to investigate. Mike's hunch eventually proves correct as it becomes apparent that these monstrous creatures are indeed responsible for the deaths.

'Slugs' is a 1988 horror film directed by Juan Piquer Simón and produced jointly by Spain and the United States. The movie is based on the novel 'Slime Daves' by Sheldon Gillenwater. It gained notoriety for its unique premise of giant, carnivorous slugs wreaking havoc in New York City, preying on unsuspecting victims. Despite mixed critical reception, 'Slugs' has become a cult classic among horror fans.
