Synopsis
Sutter Keely, a high school senior and popular party animal with a penchant for alcohol, wakes up one morning on a stranger's lawn. He meets Aimee Finecky, an introverted girl who is different from his usual crowd. As Sutter deals with problems in his life, including his estranged father and his own alcoholic tendencies, he forms an unexpected connection with Aimee. Despite their contrasting personalities and plans for the future, they find themselves drawn together in a romantic relationship.

Résumé
Directed by James Ponsoldt in 2013, 'Spectacular Now' is a coming-of-age drama that explores themes of alcoholism, love, and the struggle between living in the moment versus planning for the future. Based on the young adult novel of the same name by Tim Tharp, the film stars Miles Teller as Sutter Keely and Shailene Woodley as Aimee Finecky.
