Histoire
The movie 'Ssang-hwa-jeom' (2008) is set during the late 14th century in the declining Goryeo Dynasty. The king organizes a military force known as Kunryongwe, led by the powerful commander Hong Lim, who captures the king's attention to an extent that it draws away from his queen. Meanwhile, the Yuan Dynasty attempts to manipulate the situation but fails when the king refuses their machinations. In order to secure the Goryeo line for future generations, the ruler devises a scheme to have Hong Lim impregnate the queen and father a new ruler with her.
