Four friends set out for a hike in an isolated national park. They soon discover a hidden grove containing glowing, otherworldly marijuana plants. Upon harvesting some of these mysterious plants and consuming them, they begin to experience terrifying hallucinations and encounters with alien entities. The group must fight for their lives as they realize that the plants are protected by malevolent extraterrestrial forces.

Star Leaf is a unique blend of horror and sci-fi that centers around four friends who unintentionally disturb an alien ecosystem while on a hike. The film explores themes of possession, both in the literal sense with regards to the alien entities, and metaphorically as it delves into the mind-altering effects of the extraterrestrial marijuana.
