Synopsis
The movie 'Stardom' (2000) follows Tina Menzhal, a high school athlete from rural Canada who is discovered by a sports photographer and sent to a fashion agency in Montréal. This sets her on a journey through the glamorous world of supermodels, taking her from Canada to Paris, then back to Montréal, onto Manhattan, and eventually around the world. Along the way, she encounters two boyfriends, two husbands, numerous TV interviews, an agent, paparazzi, and a documentary filmmaker. Throughout this whirlwind career, Tina struggles to express her thoughts and feelings amidst the constant noise and chaos of celebrity life.
