Synopsis
Newcomers to the remote Australian desert town of Nathgari, Catherine and Matthew Parker are tormented when their two teenage children, Tommy and Lily, mysteriously vanish just before a massive dust storm hits. As temperatures rise and hopes of survival dwindle with each passing day, the Parkers struggle to cope with the disappearance of their kids. The townsfolk join the search led by local cop David Rae, but suspicions grow against the Parkers as rumors spread. The Parkers are pushed to the brink while they strive to uncover the truth about their children's fate.

Strangerland (2015) is a mystery thriller directed by Kim Farrant and filmed in Australia.
