Synopsis
Cookie, a teenage girl, flees her abusive stepfather with her younger brother, aiming for New York City. At the Port Authority bus terminal, she encounters Duke, a charming yet sadistic pimp who notices Cookie's beauty and potential. With nowhere to go, Cookie falls under Duke's influence and begins working as a prostitute on his behalf. The harsh realities of this life are revealed through Cookie's experiences and her dismay at Duke's brutality towards other women in the trade.
