Synopsis
In Depression-era America, Roxy, a tobacco farmer's wife, feels neglected by her hardworking husband. She becomes increasingly drawn to Jack, their handsome hired hand. The two embark on an ill-advised affair, risking their marriage and social standing in pursuit of forbidden passion.
