Synopsis
Jane Parker travels to Africa to join her father on an expedition. Early in her stay, she has a couple of encounters with Tarzan that establish a bond between them, hinting at sexual attraction. Later, when the expedition is captured by savages, Tarzan comes to their rescue.

Tarzan, the Ape Man (1981) is an adventure film directed by John Derek and told from Jane's perspective. The movie is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' novel series about Tarzan but focuses more on Jane's experience. It was released in the United States.
