Histoire
Leigh Ann Watson (Katie Holmes), a bright high-school senior, finds her position as valedictorian threatened when Mrs. Tingle (Dame Helen Mirren), her history teacher, gives her a poor grade on a project. In an attempt to improve her grade and secure her scholarship to Harvard, Leigh Ann tries to cheat during the final exam but is caught by Mrs. Tingle. This incident sets off a series of events where friendships, loyalties, and trust are tested. The situation escalates when Leigh Ann and her friends, Joanna (Barbra Alyn Woods) and Louise (Jessica Steen), kidnap Mrs. Tingle in an attempt to force her to change their grades. However, things go awry as Mrs. Tingle's intricate mind-games lead them into a chaotic ordeal.
