Synopsis
Following the events of 'The Young Pope,' this series picks up with Pope Pius XIII in a coma, teetering between life and death. The College of Cardinals, faced with the prospect of losing their leader, elects Sir John Brannox, an English aristocrat known for his charm and sophistication, to take over the papal throne.
