Synopsis
Tommy Boy follows the story of Tommy Callahan Jr., a free-spirited but somewhat dim-witted salesman who travels across America with his straight-laced colleague Richard Hayden in an attempt to save their family's auto parts business from bankruptcy. Tommy Boy is a 1995 buddy comedy film directed by Peter Segal, starring Chris Farley and David Spade. The movie revolves around the unlikely duo of Tommy Callahan Jr., a lovable but clumsy salesman, and Richard Hayden, his level-headed colleague who has recently been promoted to vice president of their family's business. When their company begins to struggle financially after Tommy's father suffers a heart attack, they embark on a cross-country road trip to secure new clients and save the business from bankruptcy.
