Synopsis
In Detroit, Clarence Worley meets Alabama Whitman at a movie theater and they spend the night together. The next morning, Alabama reveals she's a prostitute but expresses love for Clarence. They marry, and when Clarence goes to retrieve her belongings from her former pimp Drexl Spivey's place, he ends up killing both Drexl and his partner after being beaten. Unaware that Alabama's suitcase contains cocaine belonging to the Sicilian Mafia, Clarence decides to sell it with help from his friend Dick Ritchie in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Alabama's ex-pimp's associates hire hitmen to retrieve the cocaine. Clarence and Alabama go on the run, eventually leading to a violent confrontation between them, the mafia hitmen, and the LAPD at a hotel.
