Synopsis
In 'Tu Nombre Envenena Mis Sueños', directed by Pilar Miró and based on Joaquín Leguina's novel, a mysterious body surfaces in Madrid's El Retiro park. The story unfolds as investigators, dressed in gabardine suits reminiscent of film noir detectives, begin their probe. Among them is Emma Suárez who appears out of place with her hairstyle inappropriate for the 1936 setting. The investigation leads them through cemeteries and dimly lit bars, with dance scenes that seem disconnected from the popular song 'Mi Jaca' or tango movements.

'Tu Nombre Envenena Mis Sueños', released in 1996, is a drama-thriller directed by Pilar Miró.
