On her 22nd birthday, Sam, a former history major who dropped out of college, has one wish: to witness the Patek Comet, which appears only once every 150 years. However, her day does not go as planned. She faces confrontations with her boss, family, friends, and boyfriend, all questioning her about her future plans and why she dropped out of college. Sam is not ready to answer these questions, causing her birthday to spiral out of control.
