In the rural town of Twin Peaks, Washington, high school student Laura Palmer leads a double life: she's revered as a homecoming queen by day but secretly engages in drug addiction and prostitution at night. Meanwhile, in the nearby town of Deer Meadow, FBI Agent Desmond goes missing while investigating the murder of a teenage girl.
