Synopsis
In the late 1960s following Mali's independence, a young socialist named Bakary meets and falls in love with Ramatou, who is attempting to flee an arranged marriage. Their relationship develops amidst the political turmoil of post-colonial Africa.

Résumé
Twist à Bamako (2021) is a French drama film directed by Robert Guédiguian, set against the backdrop of Mali's newly gained independence in the late 1960s.
