Susan Price, author of the bestseller 'The Dark Side of Judith', finds herself framed for the murder of her fiancé, billionaire publisher Jack Reynolds. To evade authorities and uncover the true killer, Susan assumes a new identity as 'Judith Anderson' and becomes a relay operator for the hearing impaired to communicate with District Attorney Beth McDaniels, who is deaf.
