Synopsis
The story begins with John-John, a young boy growing up in a suburban neighborhood south of Stockholm with his mother and stepfather. One day during the summer vacation, they rescue Patricia from drowning at Vinterviken. Her father, expressing gratitude, invites them to his wealthy home in Bromma. John-John meets Elisabeth, Patricia's daughter, and instantly develops feelings for her. The rest of the story revolves around John-John's pursuit of Elisabeth's love while navigating the stark contrast between their social backgrounds.
