Synopsis
Riva, a small-time operator, returns to Kinshasa after a decade with a fortune in hijacked gasoline. He meets Nora, the kept woman of local gangster Azor, at a nightclub and becomes infatuated with her. Riva partners with his friend Mimi to sell the fuel, but they encounter resistance from Azor's men. Meanwhile, Cesar, a ruthless foreigner, also seeks the fuel cache. Riva seduces Nora away from Azor while trying to avoid both Azor's gang and Cesar's pursuit.

Résumé
Viva Riva!, directed by Djo Tunda Wa Munga in 2010, is an action-thriller film set in Kinshasa, Congo. The movie follows the titular character, Riva, who returns home with a fortune in hijacked gasoline. The plot revolves around Riva's ambition, his affair with Nora, and the dangerous consequences of his actions. It explores themes of power, desire, and the consequences of greed in the context of Kinshasa's lawless streets.
