Synopsis
Two escaped convicts, hoping to evade capture and reach safety in Canada, assume the identities of priests as a means to bypass a police blockade at the border. They find themselves taken in by a Catholic church and must maintain their ruse until they can safely flee with the help of Molly, a woman they meet there.

Résumé
Directed by Neil Jordan in 1989, 'We're No Angels' is a comedic take on the buddy film genre set around Christmas. The film is based on the 1955 movie of the same name and stars Robert De Niro and Sean Penn as the escaped convicts.
