Synopsis
Alice Klieg, diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, wins $83 million in the Mega Millions lottery. She quits her medication and decides to use her winnings to produce her own TV talk show as a means of expressing herself and connecting with others. Alice travels to Los Angeles and convinces two struggling TV producers to help her create her show. Throughout production, her erratic behavior due to her disorder causes chaos on set, leading to a controversial first episode where she discusses her sexual experiences instead of announcing her lottery win. Despite the negative reception, Alice remains determined to continue producing her show.

Résumé
'Welcome to Me' is a dark comedy directed by Shira Piven that explores themes of mental health and celebrity culture through the lens of a woman with Borderline Personality Disorder who wins the lottery. The film follows Alice Klieg (played by Kristen Wiig) as she uses her newfound wealth to produce her own talk show, blurring the lines between her personal life and public persona in a chaotic and often humorous manner.
