Synopsis
In 'Widows,' directed by Steve McQueen, four women in Chicago find themselves united by a debt left behind by their husbands who were killed during an armed robbery gone wrong. Veronica (Viola Davis), Alice (Elizabeth Debicki), Linda (Michelle Rodriguez), and Belle (Cynthia Erivo) decide to take matters into their own hands and plan a heist to pay off this debt. Set against the backdrop of contemporary Chicago politics, they aim to forge a future on their own terms.
