Synopsis
The movie begins with Blue, a teenage girl living with her jazz musician father Ham. When Ham falls ill and dies, Blue is left alone to fend for herself. Elle, the headmistress of a nearby brothel, offers Blue a place to live and work at her establishment. Initially, Blue agrees but later decides she wants to leave the brothel and lead a normal life.
