Synopsis
Four young women embark on an ordinary trip to a remote Aegean beach for a day of fun under the sun and in the sea. They enjoy each other's company, engaging in silly games, girl talk, songs, and dance. Their laughter is punctuated by tears, which are quickly washed away by their playful antics. As the day comes to a close, they must eventually say goodbye. The true nature of their trip, however, remains mysterious until the very end.

Résumé
Winona (2019), directed by Alexander Voulgaris, is a Greek comedy-drama film that follows four young women on what appears to be an ordinary beach outing. Despite its seemingly mundane premise, the movie uses a language of intimacy woven with love and grief to tell an unassumingly mysterious and deeply moving story.
