Synopsis
Rosie and Vincent have been married for five years and know each other for ten. They are struggling with their careers - Rosie dislikes her job, and Vincent is unhappy working with Rosie's father. The couple wants to start a family but hasn't succeeded yet. One day, Benoit, a Frenchman and Rosie's former pen pal whom she has never met, arrives for a visit. His arrival stirs up feelings of uncertainty about Rosie's past and present relationships.

Résumé
With or Without You is a British drama film directed by Michael Winterbottom in 1999. The story revolves around Rosie and Vincent, a married couple experiencing tension due to their unfulfilling careers and unsuccessful attempts at starting a family. When Benoit, an old pen pal of Rosie's, suddenly arrives from France, it throws their lives into disarray as questions about Rosie's feelings towards him begin to surface.
