In 'Without', set on a remote wooded island, Joslyn, a 19-year-old girl, becomes caretaker to an old man in a vegetative state. With no cell signal or internet access, Joslyn's isolated routine consists of caring for the elderly man who cannot respond. As the monotony of daily life begins to unravel her, Joslyn struggles with her feelings towards the old man, vacillating between finding solace in his company and experiencing fear and anger towards him.
