Synopsis
Tanya, who was given up for dead after being abused by her father and adopted, learns of her birth mother's identity years later. Driven by a desire to connect with her past, she seeks out Susan, her biological mother. Upon reuniting, Tanya returns from the dead, possessing Susan with all her deepest fears and desires, pushing Susan into a state of madness and violent retribution.

Résumé
Wound is a New Zealand supernatural horror film directed by David Blyth. The story explores dark themes of mental illness, incest, revenge, and death through Tanya's quest to reconnect with her birth mother after being abandoned as a child due to abuse. The film follows Tanya's journey from the perspective of both her seeking contact and Susan's descent into madness upon Tanya's possession.
