Synopsis
In 'Zero Theorem', directed by Terry Gilliam, we follow Qohen Leth (played by Christoph Waltz), a socially isolated computer operator living in a dystopian future. His work is constantly disrupted by the enigmatic Management, who send him on various tasks to prove the Zero Theorem: that the universe ends as nothing, rendering life meaningless. This time, alongside his quest to find the purpose of human existence, he's distracted by the arrival of a teenager named Bob (Lucas Hedges) and a lustful love interest named Bainsley (Mélanie Thierry). Throughout the film, Qohen grapples with these relationships while trying to complete his mission.
