Laura Eveliina Birn, born on April 25, 1981 in Helsinki, Finland, is an accomplished Finnish actress. She graduated from Teatterikorkeakoulu (Helsinki) in 2008 after studying between 2002 and 2007. Birn is known for her notable roles in various Nordic films such as 'Lupaus' (2005), '8 days to the Premiere' (2008), and 'Vuosaari' (2012). She won the Best Actress Jussi Award for her role in 'Puhdistus' (2012) and received a State Prize for Cinematography in 2013. In recent years, Birn has been portraying robot Eto Demerzel in the series 'Foundation', with season two released in 2023.
