Full Biography

Laura Harris was born to public school teachers in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She started her acting career professionally at an early age with CBC radio dramas. Known for playing 'Daisy Adair' in Dead Like Me (2003), she has appeared in films like The Faculty (1998) and A Mighty Wind (2003). Recently, she voiced 'Kitty Pryde' in Astonishing X-Men (2009). She is active in the food justice community and received a full scholarship to study social-ecological systems design at University of California, Berkeley.

Story

Artist Alison Shaw and her husband Darrin move from Toronto to a small town in Ontario after she narrowly escapes rape. They settle in and are welcomed by the locals, including David Snow who partners with Darrin in an antiques business and supports Alison's art career by opening a gallery for her. However, Alison becomes convinced that David is a serial killer responsible for murders of women resembling her. Despite her suspicions, no one believes her, even after they relocate to Vancouver. The story culminates with Darrin reaching his limit with Alison's obsession.
