María Valverde Rodríguez, born March 24, 1987 in Carabanchel, Madrid, Spain, began her acting career at age 16 with a leading role in 'La flaqueza del bolchevique', for which she won the 2003 Goya Award. She is known for her role in 'Melissa P.', based on Melissa Panarello's controversial novel 'One Hundred Strokes of the Brush Before Bed'.
