Penélope Cruz Sánchez, born on April 28, 1974 in Alcobendas, Spain, is a renowned Spanish actress known for her prolific work in both Spanish and English-language films. She began her acting career at age 16 on television and made her feature film debut the following year in 'Jamón Jamón' (1992). Cruz has worked with notable directors such as Pedro Almodóvar, appearing in films like 'Live Flesh', 'All About My Mother', 'Volver', and 'Pain and Glory'. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Woody Allen's 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' (2008). Histoire
David Kepesh, a cultural critic and professor of literature, is introduced as an 'emancipated man' until he meets Consuela Castillo, a well-mannered student who awakens sexual possessiveness in him.
