Michelle Pfeiffer, born April 29, 1958, is an American actress known for her prominent roles in films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. She began her career with minor appearances but gained recognition as Elvira Hancock in Scarface (1983). Pfeiffer received critical acclaim for her performances in Dangerous Liaisons (1988) and The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989), earning two consecutive Academy Award nominations. She played Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992) and has continued acting sporadically, including roles in Where Is Kyra? (2017), Mother!, Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and French Exit (2020). Pfeiffer is also known for her role as Janet van Dyne in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2018.
