Natalie Portman, born Neta-Lee Hershlag on June 9, 1981, is an actress with dual American and Israeli citizenship. Born in Jerusalem to an Israeli father and American mother, she moved to the United States at age three. Portman's first role was in the 1994 film 'Léon: The Professional'. She gained significant fame as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (1999-2005). After graduating from Harvard University with a psychology degree in 2003, Portman's career includes notable roles in 'Closer' (2004), 'V for Vendetta' (2006), and 'Black Swan' (2010), for which she won an Academy Award. She also directed her first feature film, 'A Tale of Love and Darkness', in 2015.

Histoire
Nina, an obsessive ballerina in a New York City ballet company, lives with her retired mother Erica who supports Nina's ambition for stardom. When artistic director Thomas Leroy decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre with Nina as the lead in their new season production of Swan Lake, Nina becomes consumed by perfectionism and rivalry when she learns that a newcomer, Lily, is also being considered for the role of the Black Swan. Nina's quest for perfection leads her down a path of self-destruction, fueled by hallucinations, paranoia, and an intense rivalry with Lily.
