Jurnee Diana Smollett-Bell, born October 1, 1986, began her career as a child actress appearing on television sitcoms like 'On Our Own' (1994-1995) and 'Full House' (1992-1994). As an adult, she has starred in films such as 'The Great Debaters' (2007), 'Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor' (2013), and 'Birds of Prey' (2020). Her notable television roles include 'Friday Night Lights' (2009-2011), 'True Blood' (2013-2014), 'Underground' (2016-2017), and 'Lovecraft Country' (2020), for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Histoire
In the modern world of Bon Temps, Louisiana, vampires have 'come out of the coffin' thanks to a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, allowing them to coexist with humans.
