Dar, the son of a king, escapes death at birth when his father's advisor, a priest named Maax, attempts to sacrifice him during a cult ritual. He is rescued by Seth, who takes Dar away from the royal palace and raises him in a humble village. As he grows up, Dar discovers he has the ability to communicate with animals.
