Juliette Binoche, born on March 9, 1964, is a French actress with an extensive career in film and theater. Born into an artistic family, she began acting at a young age and made her breakthrough in André Téchiné's 'Rendez-vous' (1985). Her international debut was 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' (1988), followed by notable roles in films like 'Three Colors: Blue' (1993) and 'The English Patient' (1996). Binoche has won numerous awards, including a César and an Academy Award. She's also known for her stage work, notably in productions of Pirandello's 'Naked' and Pinter's 'Betrayal'. Throughout her career, she has alternated between French and English language roles in both mainstream and art-house productions.
