Lucy Alexis Liu, born December 2, 1968, is an American actress known for her roles in various films and TV shows. She won a Critics' Choice Television Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Seoul International Drama Award throughout her career. Some of her notable works include starring as Ling Woo in 'Ally McBeal', Alex Munday in both 'Charlie's Angels' films, and Joan Watson in 'Elementary'. Her filmography includes 'Payback', 'Shanghai Noon', 'Chicago', 'Kill Bill: Volume 1', 'Lucky Number Slevin', and most recently, 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods'. Liu also provided voice acting for characters like Master Viper in 'Kung Fu Panda' and Silvermist in the 'Tinker Bell' series. Histoire
On a seemingly ordinary day in Southern California, three interconnected stories unfold around a single event: the theft of drug-making equipment and cash by two criminals from an underground lab. First, Laura hires a dominatrix to test her fiancé's fidelity before their wedding. This woman, after fleeing the criminals who kidnap her, meets a snake enthusiast named Pete. Meanwhile, a builder and his assistant try to help the builder's stepdaughter overcome her drug addiction. Their plans are disrupted when they encounter the same criminals looking for their best customer, the stepdaughter. Throughout the day, these diverse characters' paths cross in unexpected ways as they each deal with greed, lust, and survival.
